Why does the order of blend ingredients matter?
US labeling rules require a blend to list ingredients from most to least by weight. So cinnamon is the biggest share of the 635 mg, and lutein with zeaxanthin is the smallest.
The order gives you a rough ranking, not real numbers. Ten items share 635 mg, so the average is about 63 mg each. In practice the first few likely take a larger share and the last few a smaller one.
What do %DV and "Daily Value not established" mean?
%DV compares one serving to a reference amount the FDA sets for daily intake. "Daily Value not established" means no such reference exists for that ingredient.
150% folate
One serving gives one and a half times the daily reference amount.
10,000% B12
One hundred times the reference. No upper limit is set for B12 (NIH ODS).
60% magnesium
A bit over half the reference. Food supplies the rest for most people.
343% chromium
About three and a half times the reference. No upper limit is set.
A high %DV is not a measure of strength or quality. It only tells you how the amount compares to the reference. The 10,000% figure for B12 is explained in depth in what 10,000% Daily Value means.
%DV is also not the same as an upper limit. Upper limits are separate safety ceilings. Folic acid from supplements has a 1,000 µg adult limit, and this serving gives 320 µg (NIH ODS, folate). Supplemental magnesium has a 350 mg limit, and this serving gives 250 mg (NIH ODS, magnesium).
Is "Alpa Lipoic Acid" a different ingredient?
No. "Alpa" is a typo on the label for alpha lipoic acid, known as ALA. The letters "ALA" printed in brackets right after it confirm what was meant.
A typo does not change what is in the capsule. It is still worth knowing, so you can search for the right name if you want to read about it.
What are the other ingredients, directions and warnings?
The side label lists four other ingredients, one line of directions and a set of warnings. We copied each one word for word.

Warnings

The capsule is BSE-free gelatin, which is animal based, so the product is not vegetarian. Rice flour adds bulk. Silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate help the powder flow when capsules are filled.

The label leaves out the amount of each blend ingredient and any lab results. A few buying details are not on the bottle either.
- The weight of each of the ten ingredients inside the 635 mg blend.
- Third-party lab results. Only the reference HON-7240-26-HO is known, and the document is not published.
- Pack prices. These show at checkout, not on the bottle.
- The written terms of the 60-day guarantee, which print at checkout.
